Kalaloch

Per tradition, we headed to Kalaloch for the week to kick off the summer (or non-summer weather-wise). We took off on Tiernan's birthday, and though he didn't enjoy the road trip, he did adore the frolicking on the beach and playing in the "cavin" (cabin). The first full day was non-stop rain, so we visited Forks (also tradition) and Kealan and I discovered marshmallow shakes - nummers! G and I had our 3rd Annual Gardipee Rummy Tournie (I won - 2880 to 2765. Also our closest) and Mom and Dad joined us a few days in. Thankfully the weather turned around and we had a beautiful few days on the beach. So beautiful that everyone got sunburned despite the sunblock. Maybe it was the fact that we spent about 9 hours straight on the beach in the sun!

The Birthday Boy!

The only picture including the 4 of us!

We literally spend all day on the beach, so the kids take little breaks that last about 2 minutes!

K is really rockin' the frisbee lately!

Naps on the beach are RAD!

Funyuns - the official beach snack.

Also per tradition, we visit George's Grandma and Grandpa in Sequim and have a night at the Olympic Lodge. This is very important to the monkeys due to the hotel pool!

Grandma and Kealan

Yet another tradition - the Olympic Game Farm on our way out of town. T still isn't quite brave enough to keep his window rolled down.

I had to end this entry with my kid's favorite picture - a "white rhino heiny".
