I took a very anxious Kealan to Children's today to have her final cast removed. She was really excited to have the freedom, but was worried that her foot wouldn't "work well". It looks great (FLAT!), though when she attempted to walk on it, you would've thought the doctors and nurses were stabbing her. She was in a great deal of pain, so I'm praying that with a little time her pain will diminish. She has two new custom braces (one for day and one for night) Her spirits picked up by the time we got home and took some pictures to send to George who is out of town.
