Let It Snow, Let It Snow, ...OK - Enough!

Wow! I've never been trapped in my house this long! This weather has been both a blessing and a curse. I can't go run errands and get that kind of work accomplished, so I try to work at home. However, who can work when it's this beautiful outside and you have an extremely excited 4 year-old simply vibrating to go play in the snow? Needless to say, we have spent several days frolicking in the white stuff, sledding down our awesome hill with the whole neighborhood joining in! It was reminiscent of my childhood on The Hill, when we would sled all night long (including all Neighborhood Moms and Dads) We ended up getting only 5 inches, but it has never stuck around this long! We've had snow since Monday, and G worked from home Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Though most of the roads are somewhat clear around us, our hill is still pure white COMPACT SNOW and ICE. As the saying goes, it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Well, that someone was Gibson, and he fractured his collarbone. He was out that night, though, and he and Kealan were making one-armed snow angels. It was so cute, two little snow angels, each with one wing!
This was Tiernan's first time IN the snow, and he wasn't very impressed at first, but ended up loving the sled!
Grady didn't like it so much!
Last night we ventured out for the first time since Tuesday to go visit the Big Man himself. Kealan has always been cool with Santa. Though, as expected, Tiernan wasn't having any of it!

Mara, Bergen, and Trynne joined us!

Now we're staying in simply to get healthy. T came down with something and has a pretty high fever, so we're laying low for the moment. We're praying for good health so we can spend some time with my Mom and Dad, who arrived from Ohio safely on Wednesday night and are staying with Joelle and Jeff. At least they're snowed in here instead of in Ohio!
