My Weird Little Girl

In a previous post, I wrote about Kealan's beloved sticky frogs. In June of 2007, my mother bought her a set of four. They're meant as party favors, the things that you lose after a few days. Now 3 of them have long been gone, though Orange Frog has stuck around. I posted a picture of it a while back, but this is what "she" has deteriorated into: Yes, nothing even remotely resembling a creature, let alone a frog. The thing is literally disintegrating! She still resides in K's room, though I believe (just call it a mother's intuition) that Orange Frog will be passing on soon!

When she was 2, immediately after the storm that put a tree into our house and she was displaced from her room, K began sleeping in a drawer. It took us 3 months and a trip to Disneyland to break her of this! Needless to say I was a little dismayed to find this in her room during Rest Time:
First of all, the girl NEVER takes naps anymore, so sure enough, she ended up having a cold.
Funnies from Kealan:
She started playing with a cat toy that's a turtle, and everyone in our house must have a name. Thus, the turtle was christened "Turdy the Turtle".
In the same vein, a new nicname for our cat, Lewis, was born: Aunt Phibian (as in "amphibian"). There is now Grandpa, Grandma, and Uncle Phibian as well!
Kealan's temper has really been ramping up of late (she comes by it honestly), and in a particular outburst this week yelled, "Let's just do it MY way!"
