Another awesome Labor Day vacation at Ocean Shores OVER! This was our 11th year spending the Labor Day week there with my Mom and Dad, Jeff, Joelle, Mara, Trynne, and Bergen. We never fail to have the most enjoyable and relaxing time! Our days are filled with lounging and playing on the beach, great conversations, naps, shopping and SPECTABULOUS food! Alas, it is over all too soon. I am somewhat melancholy at the passing of our summer this year. Spring is my favorite season, followed by summer. I have felt cheated by the lack of "spring" and "summer" this past year, and the arrival of fall and winter is not something to which I am looking forward. Oh, well. 'Tis pointless to fight the passage of time! I simply have to begin looking forward to next spring! Anyway, Kealan is staying consistent with her disinterest of actually touching the ocean, and preferred to play happily in the sand. Tiernan followed suit, and discovered how much fun the sand is! He couldn't get enough! T also perfected his walking over the vacation, much to Mom and Dad's delight. They were so happy to witness it!

K's cool new shades - they match my WayFarers

It is my tradition to take a picture of each sunset from our deck on the beach. This was the winner this year. Sunsets are God's watercolors.

This week was also the beginning of school for Little Miss K. This year she is in class 3 days a week in the Farm Room. So far, so good - she's having a blast!
