Here in the Gardipee Hale, we adore Christmas break! Not only is Kealan home from school, but G gets a week and a half off of work. We spend a lot of time relaxing and hanging out together, though we managed to fit in a few outings as well. It's also our tradition to build a gingerbread house after Christmas, and break it on New Year's Day to find what prizes are inside for the kids. It was truly a team project this year, and Tiernan ate as much as he put on, while Kealan discovered that she LOVES icing.
One of said outings was to the Seattle Aquarium. The highlights by far were the Touching Tide Pool for T and the Hands On Learning Center for K. My faves are always the underwater dome, seals and otters, though the seahorses were unusually active this time and really fun to watch!
