On Sunday we had dinner with Chuck and Nicole, and their boys, Brent and Blake. Kealan LOVES going to play with Brent and his very cool playroom. And now that Tiernan and Blake (who is 6 months old) can join in, she's super-stoked! It was such a good visit, with great BBQ to boot - we simply don't get together enough!

The Boys hanging out. T has his pacifier, as it was WAY past his bedtime and he missed his afternoon nap! All in all, he did really well.
Monday was the perfect day for a trip to the zoo, and April and decided that morning to go for it. So many animals were out, they were probably thankful for a more mild day. We always begin our visits with a carousel ride. It is right by the gate we come in as members, so it's only natural!
Grady spent a good portion of the ride watching Kealan upside down.

This Peacock was absolutely surrounded by children and was strutting his stuff. At one point he squawked and freaked Kealan out. I have to say, it startled me too. We decided that he was simply telling all of the kids to back off a bit!
We were literally this close to the Giraffe. I told Kealan that I thought she was asking Kea if she had any yummy snacks for her. K kept holding up her hands, calling out, "No, Giraffe. I don't have any snacks for you. Sorry!"
