Visit to Sequim

This is as close as Special K got to the water this trip!

When I was growing up, we camped at Dungeness Spit every summer for a week and a little piece of my heart belongs there. G and I try to go for a little visit every 6 months, and luckily, his Grandma Suzie and Grandpa Ron live there as well. Kealan absolutely LOVES riding the ferry, though this time was the first that it was simply too cold to play on the deck. She took one step outside and the wind literally almost took her glasses off! The weather interrupted a few of our plans, as it was sooooooo cold! We usually take a little hike, walk along the spit and hang out on the beach. Well, 34 degrees is beyond enjoyable for me to hang on the beach (not to mention the high winds and wind chill), so I'll have to be patient for next time. So instead, Kealan got to play a lot in the pool at the hotel, which was great. Usually we pass up the pool do do the other stuff. We did get in 2 great visits with Grandma and Grandpa, one at a restaurant (great Mexican food) and one at their house for an early Easter dinner - yummy! Kealan loves to visit their house - Grandma Suzie has so many fun toys to play with and 2 kitties (though they're smart and hide the whole time)! We had such a good time - thank you, Grandma and Grandpa!
